About Us
Murries Gone Walkabout originally started off as a fun YouTube channel created by two cousins, Zorran (Buddy) Cassady and Brett (Bala) Ross.
Created to showcase our beautiful Nywaigi country located in North Queensland Ingham, going on hunting, fishing and camping adventures. Now we want to bring you along with us!
Our new and young 100% Indigenous owned and run business delivers small personalised catch and cook tours, Welcome To Country ceremonies, mens healing camps and cultural awareness workshops for businesses and schools.
Support us by checking out our online store for authentic fishing shirts, caps, bucket hats and more!

Packages Available
Join us on a walkabout adventure with a Nywaigi traditional owner.
During this walkabout tour you will learn about Nywaigi culture and how we utilized our environment to thrive in this area for 45000+ years.
Learn about the different types of bush foods, medicines, ancient cultural history and the first pioneer explorers to settle here.
See our ancient artefact displays, learn how to make and throw your own spear, wet a line, catch your lunch and cook it on the coals/fire at the beach.
A 'Welcome to Country' is a small, formal ceremony where a Traditional Custodian will perform a smoking ceremony and give a statement/acknowledgement in Indigenous dialect, then translated, welcoming people to the land and giving blessings to the event taking place.
Recognise and acknowledge the traditional custodians with an authentic 'Welcome to Country' and smoking ceremony performed in Nywaigi language at your next function/event.
